This disclosure summarizes key risks of investing through MyroVest. It does not cover every risk and is not investment, legal, or tax advice.
Capital at risk
The value of investments — including equities, ETFs, mutual funds, structured products, and real-estate-linked products — can fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you invested, including the possible loss of your entire principal.
Fixed income is not risk-free
T-Bills, FGN Bonds, and money-market/fixed-deposit products carry lower volatility than equities but are not risk-free — they carry issuer/credit risk, interest-rate risk, and, for early withdrawal, potential loss of accrued interest or principal depending on the product.
Managed portfolios
Managed portfolios are allocated according to a stated risk tier, not guaranteed to hit any target return shown in the app. Past performance of any model portfolio or asset is not a reliable indicator of future results.
Currency risk
Holding both NGN and USD-denominated assets exposes you to exchange-rate movements between the Naira and other currencies.
Platform and execution risk
Some execution and custody functions depend on third-party market-data, payment, and (once live) brokerage partners; outages or delays at those providers can affect order timing.
No advice
Nothing in the MyroVest app or website constitutes personalized financial advice. Consider speaking with a licensed financial adviser about your individual circumstances before investing, and only invest money you can afford to put at risk.
